Last year we had record dry spell; this year we have record rainfall. With all the rain we’ve had my dugout is now at it’s highest level. I frequently have a couple of ducks sitting in the water. It is kind of fun watching them defend their position when other birds try and land in the dugout. With the ducks it’s not so much an aerial dog fight as it is a loud slow chase away.
Spring Cleaning

The weather is improving, snow is melting, roads are drying and the junk is showing… Before things start to get to crazy I am now in the process of trying to clean up some of the mess piles that have been created over the last two summer seasons. Last year I managed to acquire a good collection of deconstructed decks so I am trying to organize the lumber scraps.
